I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stryker (Tampa, FL) in Oct 2016
Interview
Laid back and mostly focused on personality type and work ethic. They will ask for relative experience and if you are prepared for the 24/7/365 lifestyle. They also look for eagerness and long term goals. The whole 1:1 interview took about an hour. At the end I was asked to research the position further and determine if it is the kind of lifestyle I want then get back with them.

I applied online. I interviewed at Stryker (Vancouver, BC) in Apr 2026
Interview
Interview was conducted remotely from a representative outside of the country. While I understand the company is a large corporate entity, the Interview process felt impersonal and like the role itself was not particularly important

Question 1
Please give an example of one time you worked as a member of a team to solve a problem.
I was emailed to interview for a position in my city. I spent 2 days preparing and took time off from my current position only to get a call from the recruiter that the position i was interviewing for was filled already. They wanted to know if i was interested in relocating cities. I found the lack of communication to be very strange. A simple email would've been productive as i was super excited about the opportunity to even get the interview! Disappointing!
