Received an email from the recruiter for a 30 minute phone interview. After the phone interview, I was referred to the hiring manager for a 30 minute Microsoft Teams interview. After meeting with the hiring manager, I was sent the Gallup assessment which took approximately 45 minutes to an hour. I received an email from the recruiter the following week told me I wasn't a "culture fit" for the company. Later on I discovered it's because Stryker typically hires Type A individuals who all think and act the same. From a diversity perspective, I don't see how this attracts diverse, high-performing talent. But I guess it's worked out for them. It's unfortunate that to proceed in the interview process you essentially have to lie about who you are on a personality assessment. My recommendation is that if you want to pass, answer the assessment questions according to what it is you think they want to hear. Overall, a very frustrating interview process and they're missing out on great talent due to an outdated and discriminatory assessment.
