      Photo Lab Team Member Interview

      9 May 2016
      Anonymous employee
      San Jose, CA
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (San Jose, CA) in May 2014

      Interview

The first thing Target does is have a GSTL give you a phone interview. Then they schedule you to do a one on one interview. Before you do the one on one interview, they require you to take a personality test. For me they immediately told me I got the position after the interview.

      Interview

I was hired at a job fair. I was brought in and had two interviews at the hotel and then the head of HR took me and had me do a drug test. I got a call the next week that they wanted to hire me. I have been working here for 2 and a half years almost.

      10 Sept 2010
      Anonymous employee
      Spring Valley, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Spring Valley, NY) in Sept 2010

      Interview

Overall I didn't wait long for the interview, it was preplanned for a specific date over the phone. I was interviewed by two separate individuals and asked a variety of questions, where I would need to come up with proper solutions that made sense. Both interviews were 1:1 and personalized. Overall, it seemed like a positive work environment, I didn't get any strong negative perceptions. I imagine dressing well for the interview, being positive and cheerful, and overall showing an interest really can assist in obtaining the position.
