I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Apr 2017
Interview
3 part interview using the STAR interview strategy. The first interview was over the phone with HR. The second interview was over the phone with the hiring manager. The third interview was in person, first I met with the HR personnel then I met with two managers who interact on a daily basis with the manager I will be working under, followed by an hour interview with the hiring manager that I will be working other. The in person interview was about 3 hours.

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you worked with a team member who proved difficult to work with.
Straightforward. Direct questions and answers. No games. Great process and follow-up. I hope all interviews are like this in the future. Other employers should do the same to make hiring a pleasant experience
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target
Interview
the interview process included three one on one interviews. All three interviews were over zoom and with different individuals with the company. I met with an employee at a college career fair and that’s how I started the interview process.

Question 1
A time you worked with someone with different opinions than you.
I was invited for an interview where the manager appeared quite defensive throughout the conversation. At times, the discussion became unnecessarily personal and veered off-topic. Additionally, the process included a puzzle-solving exercise that seemed unrelated to the role. Even though my solution was correct, the manager insisted on a specific version that aligned with his own expectations.
