I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Apr 2018
Interview
I had a phone interview and through interviewing found out that this role was not for me through input by hiring manager. I talked about where I want to be in my career and working in a distribution center was not a fit for those goals.

Run me through your resume and past work experience...
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Suffolk, VA) in June 2020
Interview
The interview process was one phone interview with recruiter and two back-to-back 45 minute interviews with two members of the senior operations team.
The interview panel flew through the questions even though I’m confident that the responses I gave were relatable to their business and thorough using the STAR method.
Both groups of two seemed uninterested in the answers and were more concerned with completing the interview. I was even cut off during my opportunity to ask questions because it was almost noon. Perhaps time to go to lunch? It’s obvious they have a minimum requirement of applicants they must interview. It’s an extremely unprofessional process in my opinion.
If I may suggest, HR and S.Ops team should communicate better to the identify additional cut lines on the ideal candidate prior to interviewing. In short, stop wasting people’s time!

Disappointing that this was all that the interview entailed as it does not allow them to gain insight to your experience and how you can help their business.
