I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Los Angeles, CA) in July 2018
Interview
Humiliating and stupid. I was one-on-one with a silly little girl who was asking me questions like I was being interviewed for an executive level position (I was being interviewed to unload boxes from a truck for the night shift). She then proceeded to tell me the job was very strenuous and I would have to do everything she said very quickly and she was power tripping on it. So basically I was asked irrelevant, stupid questions and told I'd have to do everything she said. That being said, I think it was quite fair that I inquired about the pay on the spot, but she didn't want to tell me. Why would I be interested in being abused as a pack mule without knowing the pay? Stupid. When I pressed, she said it would be based on my experience - which was another completely stupid thing to say as it was obvious that I was way overqualified and just looking for an interim job. I let her know that I was pretty damn qualified to move boxes. I received an email rejection from Target and a job offer of twice the pay later that week.
PS: The interviewer didn’t know what the expression “to wear multiple hats” meant when I spoke of my previous job at directing a startup. What a dummy!

Question 1
What was a time when you had to work with people on a project where you went above and beyond and what was the result?
Positive experience, seasonal employee only though. Would have liked to have something a little more locked in. Interview was. Digital recording only, which was odd. I had a minute to read the question and then record my answer and then submit and move on for I think 5 or 6 questions.
