I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Target (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2019
Interview
The interview process was not too bad. I applied online, and got a call a few days after to set up an interview.
It took about a total of 45 minutes for me in the interview. Went through 2 interviews back to back, and was offered a job on the spot.
Their interview process has changed, so the questions that are mentioned on the reviews here might be outdated.
I was first interviews by a floor supervisor, then she asked me at the end if I can stay for a second interview.
The second interview consists of physically going on the floor and talking to other employees to get their perspective, and then the interviewer will ask scenario questions.
Out of the 2 interviews, it is simple questions with not so wordy answers like "what past experiences do you have that can contribute to the position you are applying for?", and each interview has 3 characteristic questions. So a total of 6 more worded questions, and 6 not so wordy questions.
I applied for guest advocate, but they liked that I had clothing experience, so they hired me as a Style Consultant.
They asked pretty standard questions like tell them about myself and why I'm interested in the role, and they also gave some scenario questions and asked how I would prioritize the work. They placed a big emphasis on availability
