I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Bengaluru) in May 2019
Interview
Had first round through telephonic, it was good. Interview is all about my resume and work experience.
Later they given case study and invited for F2F rounds.
Had 3 rounds of F2F interviews.
First round was bit technical and it was okay okay. Interviewer not interested in overall design he just keeps on asking what data structures am using.
Second round about the case study which given earlier, here also interviewer not interested in the actual design, code style and code conventions. He just asking how much time taken for solving the problem and did i referred any online sources. He was directly asking did this code really written by me or not.
Third round with Manager it was completely non technical. He was very rude and impatient. Once discussion was over he just told to leave by showing the exit door. Yes it's okay to say leave but the way he told was completely not acceptable.
I came from different city to attend the F2F interviews. They don't have proper etiquette to offer lunch or just directing the way for cafeteria.
Overall interviews are kind of okay but not good. By the interview process i can assume this role not meant for the people who are looking for challenging work. It's just for people who wants to do job by talking not by coding.
