I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target
Interview
Applied online, had to fill out a brief form supplying work background etc, basically an online resume. I received a call about a month later and was asked to attend an interview. when I arrived, I signed in and sat around waiting for about a half hour. I then when into two separate interviews, the first of which I bombed but then i must've redeemed myself in the second as I was asked to complete a third interview with the store manager. Lots of situational type questions, explain a situation where you've taken on a leadership role etc., they follow a script so every single target employee interviewed will be getting asked the same questions.

Question 1
I felt that a lot of the questions were incredibly similar so I didn't really know how to answer them differently. They also asked how I felt about the fact that I had to upsell product at my previous fast food job.
It was interesting. Not hard at all, straightforward, and pretty open people. It was an okay interview and what you’d typically expect. So don’t stress stress it, I mean kinda try your best
Standard process, STAR method is good to use in interviews like this. Wear nice clothing not too dressed up not too formal and be friendly. Positive environment not super high pressure

Question 1
Tell us about a time you had an upset customer and what did you do to fix the issue
I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Miramar, FL) in June 2026
Interview
I answered 5 recorded interview questions and 1 Q&A. You get 2-3 mins to answer the 5 questions, and the Q&A has no time limit, it was surprisingly easy to prepare myself for.
