I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Nov 2014
Interview
I applied for seasonal, and they contacted me three days later to come in for an interview. The day of the interview you have to come in and go on one of their computers before the interview happens and answer a bunch of questions -- a lot of math related questions about logistics. I already knew from someone else that at the interview they have two people talk to you at different times, which happened for me as well. I first spoke with the person in charge of the flow team, then I spoke with the HR person. It was weird because they literally asked me the same exact questions. So it was kind of pointless in that aspect. They do a lot of "tell me a time when" scenarios, and ask about your strengths, weaknesses, why you want to work in that position, why you want to work with target in general. They hired me on the spot and told me orientation was the next week. They were very nice.

Question 1
They wanted to know like 4 strengths and weaknesses -- I usually only have about 2-3 in my head, so I had to scramble to say two more!
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target (National City, CA) in Nov 2016
Interview
sat down in a small waiting area until one of the employees brought me around to the a small room. The interviewer seemed friendly enough. He asked if I had any questions and I asked him what he liked about working for the company. He told me what the job entailed and the schedule, which is from 4-8. He then asked me some questions from corporate. I don't think I did to well because I didnt go to far into detail. Then he thanked me and said he'd let me know in a few days once they finished interviewing other candidates.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Portland, OR) in July 2016
Interview
I applied to Target early July and the next week I was contacted for an interview about 4-5 days later. The interview process for Target was very... interesting. I met with the merchandise flow manager person and she asked me a lot of questions like "tell me about a time you showed exceptional service." and questions like why do you wanna work at Target. This lasted around 15 minutes. Afterwards the manager of the logistics team came in and interviewed me. He pretty much asked the same questions, so... I gave him similar answers cause.. yeah I din't know what else to say. After that, ANOTHER guy came in, asked a few questions AGAIN, and then talked to me about availability and hired me on the spot. The interview lasted about 45 minutes, although I know friends who have interviewed for 2 hours before at Target.
