I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Target in July 2010
Interview
I applied online, and it took months to get back to me. I was told to expect to be there for an hour. You get two initial interviews. If they think that you have potential, you're referred to a third interview with the District Manager. Everyone seemed pretty happy to be working there and everyone seemed to be very nice. If you make it past the second interview, you could be there for a long time. The following morning, I received a job offer via telephone. An appointement was set with the HR person and we discussed the salary expectations then I was told I would get another call back once my paperwprk was processed. After the paperwork was processed I received a few emails with my official offer letter and I was told to take a drug test.

Interview
It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.
