One phone round with recruiter and one behavioral interview. Behavioral round asked situationals and your customer service experience. They gave you example questions to prep for, so as long as you’re ready to answer all, it should be fine.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you dealt with an upset customer?
The interview process went exactly as described by other reviews. I applied online and after not hearing anything after I week I found a recruiter on LinkedIn and sent him an email. Recruiter set up a short phone interview asking "Tell me about yourself. Why Target? Why this Internship?" (EVERY interview started like this). He asked maybe one more question about leadership. After this, he scheduled a phone interview with a Store Manager near where I would working. I also had to complete an online test. The online test was half behavioral questions (ex. Click the one most like you: I am organized or I am messy) and half logic questions (ex. there are 3 students, one student starts class 30 minutes after the 2nd student, what time does the second student start class if the first class is at 7:30?). The logic portion is tricky because there is not enough time to spend on each question, just go through as quickly as you can. My phone interview with the store manager went really well. It was the same intro questions plus around 4 STAR questions (situation, task, action, result). Have specific examples ready, I was only asked questions that were already on Glassdoor, so read reviews. After this interview I was scheduled an interview with the district manager. This interview was more questions about what career I'm looking for in target and what day I could start working. At this point I had already completed an online background check, provided my SSN , etc so I thought I had the internship for sure, and the district manager was just checking to see if I was personable. I thought the interview went well but received an automated email saying I was no longer in consideration. My advice is be honest throughout the entire process with what future you're seeking within Target and don't get too comfortable (like I did) and assume you got the job. Everyone that interviewed me was very nice and respectful, I just wasn't happy with how Target declined me via an automated email, when I had been in contact with a recruiter throughout the entire process. wtlongeconsideration.
It was pretty short and they mainly asked about how I handle working on a team with other people. They asked a couple of questions regarding my work experience but they did send me a study guide before my interview of things they might asked which reeally helped.

Question 1
How well do you work on a team with lots of people?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Columbus, OH) in Feb 2025
Interview
I scheduled a time and she called me, no video. This was done with the hiring manager. She sounded automated and it was not personable at all. It only took around 25 minutes.
