I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Hanover, PA) in Feb 2020
Interview
I was led into a crowded back room where they had me sit for a long time before two people came in. I was asked what position I applied for, and then told I would be working somewhere else if hired. I politely declined and said I wasn’t interested in a position I hadn’t applied for, but they continued to insist and push until I just left. I don’t know how many times I could say no thank you, it’s not the right fit.

Question 1
How much I could lift, previous experience, basic questions
Online application and in store interview to discuss retail/customer service experience. Having some previous restaurant experience was seen as a plus but definitely not necessary. Met with some of the other baristas to see if there was a good team vibe. Offer received same day.

Question 1
How have you handled a customer who was displeased with your service?
Pretty straight forward. It is really like every interview at any big box store. They didn't ask anything particular. They mainly focused on if you could get to work on time and if you were available. They worked with anyone who was in school (hs or college)
