I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Target (Tenleytown) in July 2023
Interview
Online interview through HireVue and then an in-person interview. During the in-person interview, they asked the same questions as the online one which was stupid. One of the interviewers seemed really arrogant like he ran the place. Overall not the best or most professional experience
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target in Nov 2025
Interview
I applied on a Thursday and received an invitation for a HireVue interview, which I completed on Saturday. The interview was not long and only consisted of six questions. On the following Thursday I received a call from the store offering me the position. My background check took a day or two and I was able to start work by the upcoming Monday.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to work through conflict
Yearly raises are pitiful. Terrible culture and executives just order people around. Executives also sleeping with team members and seem to have favorites. Don’t expect any bonuses. The job interview is simple just very basic not skill based what so ever. Seems like they just care about your availability and that you can work nights / weekends.
