I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Seattle, WA) in June 2012
Interview
I applied online and was called for a phone interview. Once I passed the phone interview I was invited for a store interview. I originally interviewed for a different position but during the interview I was given the opportunity for my current position. After the second interview I was invited back for a third interview with the store manager. I went into this interview thinking I would be asked more questions, but it was more about small talk and the manager hired me on the spot. The third interview took less than five minutes. I was relieved and shocked at the fact that I didn't have to wait yet another week to hear results, but also that I was hired in less than five minutes.
Standard questions which led me to believe they are trying to build a quality team in their local store. General availability, previous experience as well as other skills that would help in aiding customers
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot in July 2017
Interview
Is was brief and concise, the manager was straight forward with the interview and told me they will call me if I am picked. I was called in 2 days to come for a drug test
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2014
Interview
Long...you have to call and follow up on your application via their webpage-don't wait until they contact you! The first interview took a long time before even anyone acknowledged us. I took a good hour before I got in to the interview, even though I had a set time to be there. After that it was pretty harmless and pleasant.
