I started out on a contract basis working with 200+ contractors through a staffing company. we all had to work hard if we wanted to get permanent status because there were only 4-6 full time positions available. I exceeded the metrics required and was asked to interview, after working there about 6 months. I interviewed with 2 people. One wrote down my answers and the other asked the questions. Behavioral based interview questions. "tell me about a time when" took about 30-45 minutes, and they asked about 6 questions. Took them about 4 weeks to get back about the hiring decision. It doesnt always take that long though. Home Depot is just generally slow in contacting candidates.
