I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Baton Rouge, LA) in Feb 2010
Interview
The interview process is very lengthy. FIrst you have to apply online. Then get phone screened by someone out of town. Once you pass that then you are set up with an instore interview with a hiring manger. If you pass that then there is a 2nd interview with the store manager. Basic customer service questions.

it was short and it was simple very quick and they hired me on the spot probably due to needing people and being short staffed, but the staff was nice and polite they did also send me an email before hand to schedule my interview
