I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2014
Interview
This was an internal interview. The interview process differs just a bit. It consists of two parts, a formal and informal. The Formal interview is more or less a question and answer (what would you do in this situation?). The Informal is a conversation between you and the hiring manager.

Question 1
It comes down to dealing with difficult customers who want odd things. How would you deal with a customer that is mad because she can't get an install date that she wants.
In person, very friendly. Enjoyed the. Experience. Showed me around and were very nice. Made me feel very comfortable. The manager interviewed me himself. Made me feel like part of the team before I even started.
It was very quickly and easy. The managers were very nice and understanding when told about a need for flexibility in the schedule, the questions weren’t too bad either. This was before covid so I had to go in in person and was asked a bunch of scenario questions.
Received a call that went into the job and the next steps that are involved with getting hired such as, when to expect to hear from the hiring manager. Pretty easy
