I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot
Interview
Contacted through phone, but couldn't talk at the time, had the automated system schedule to call me back. Answered a few questions through an automated system then was transferred to an actual person. They asked questions about how I had performed in past work situations. Then scheduled me for a face to face interview. Went to the interview and was asked more situation questions. I was then asked if I had any questions for her. Take this opportunity and ASK questions. Ask about how they want their employees to handle situations where a customer wants to speak to a manager and ask what is the monetary amount that an associate can take upon his or herself to adjust a price (ie: discount for damaged item, wrong ticketed price, price match.) Interviewer was very nice and we just had a conversation after questions were asked. Was called back the next day to schedule a second interview. I spent all day preparing for the second interview watching the videos on the website and retaining information because I was not told what the interview would be based on, but when I got to the store I was told there would be no interview and they were offering me employment.
20-minute interview, asked scenario-based questions and experiences with customer service. The interview had a video call component and an in-person interview. The interview had questions about comfort with learning new programs and asked about availability.
it was short and it was simple very quick and they hired me on the spot probably due to needing people and being short staffed, but the staff was nice and polite they did also send me an email before hand to schedule my interview

Question 1
They asked several questions but due to the fact that I was so over qualified...it was 'how soon can you start".
