I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Bellevue, WA) in June 2012
Interview
The interview was pretty straightforward. I was asked a number of questions about my history and they asked if I would be available for orientation. I agreed to attend every session of orientation and that seemed to make them happy. The person interviewing me sidetracked a bit, but overall, the experience was memorable, and make sure to fill out the application carefully before the interview. Also, do not show up two hours late for the interview.
Very simple and straightforward. Basically just getting background info on you to see what department you would be best suited for. Received prompt and quick responses to set up interview and follow-up post interview.
