I applied for the operations position to hopefully work in the back managing inventory. One day later received an email to take an automated phone interview and answered basic questions which took 10 minutes. At the end of the automated phone interview, it mentioned I passed and to pick a date for the interview. Received an email that day saying I was being considered for the Lot Associate position.
Six days later, had the interview and it was very disorganized. First, I walked to the customer service desk and mentioned my interview, they said the store manager was not in today. Customer service mentioned the assistant store manager could do it and this person would be up in a minute. Ten minutes later and the assistant store manager shows up saying they are very busy but the store doesn't look busy.
During the interview, the assistant managers cell phone went off and walked away to help one of his associates. I heard him swearing over the work phone. Very unprofessional and if I was a customer hearing that, would of walked out the door. I was asked very basic questions. I got the impression this store is not some place where I would want to work.
