I'd been sought out by Wells Fargo Talent Acquisition for this role and I applied following the description of the opportunity.
The initial interview was a HR screener which seemed like a formality I would be shortlisted for the next round due to what she said about my profile and the Hiring Manager's impression of it.
The interview was run of the mill about my background, skills, salary and commuting feasibility. Due to the fact that she's not on the team itself, there weren't any job specific questions outside of possibly using AI.
The process went left after the interview. They had an aggressive timeline of getting someone in and I hadn't heard from anyone or even received a confirmation that I was rejected from the process. I followed up with the Recruiter only to discover they were no longer with the company thus leaving me in limbo.
The entire experience soured me on Wells Fargo as a firm and the likelihood of me exploring them for employment was soured.
