You will be a key part of our structural team in Australia, working with team members across the business to support the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects. There will be opportunities to develop and mentor junior engineers and support our clients to bring their ideas to life.
The Opportunity
With an expanding project pipeline, we have an opportunity for an ambitious Associate Structural Engineer in our Newcastle office. As an Associate Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in our organisation, utilizing your expertise to lead and oversee structural engineering projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects in the industrial, water and energy markets varying from brownfield and greenfield design to supporting our clients in structural asset management and assessment activities.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring all project deliverables meet high standards of quality and industry regulations. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, and clients to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions. You will apply your leadership skills to support the local team and foster a culture of creativity and innovation, whilst enabling the development of team members.
About You
You will be a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, with significant demonstrated experience across structural design in the industrial, water or energy markets. Highly organised with outstanding technical and communication skills you’ll have the desire and ability to lead, mentor and drive successful project outcomes for our clients.
You will also bring a working style that embraces working collaboratively with other disciplines to bring together the best technical expertise from across a business. As well as a commitment to continuous learning and career progression, with a desire to develop and mentor junior engineers. Relevant industry knowledge, innovation and thought leadership is a must
