    Pros

    A brilliant atmosphere within the call centre with lots of backpackers who are always up for a laugh. A fantastic training process with the fabulous Raymond. All senior staff being super approchable! Plus targets are easy to hit and theres plenty of incentives to keep you motivated.     Pros

    Made some friends, occasionally felt supported at work by few people.

    Cons

    -constant nervousness about being fired -worked my hardest, hardly ever got any appreciation for time and effort -see people get fired left right and centre -management are far from uplifting or encouraging -got fired and lied to about why I was let go

    Advice to Management

    Try be good managers? Try and uplift others rather than shutting down the people that work hard FOR YOU.

    If you want experienced telemarketers in sales then advertise for them don't advertise for inexperienced novices that don't know the job then get your team leaders to bully them

Mel (company owner) directly ordered me to write up positive 5 star reviews on here to counteract all of the negative ones, and rolled her eyes when I questioned this.     Pros

    No notice period so you can leave asap

    Cons

    The office is walking on eggshells due to the horrifically large egos of the owner, Mel. The most hostile work environment I have ever experienced. Dread was real coming to work and you could be attacked for asking a question or trying to help. Mel throws out the meals that are left in the fridge without asking if anyone owns them, including the containers. Just sick.

    Advice to Management

    Learn the names of your employees, treat everyone as you would like to be treated and hire a HR manager.

    Good pay. Nice to be in the sun if you like being outdoors all day.

    Cons

    Boss intends to intimidate, not motivate, new recruits from day one. Asked me to work unpaid after my shift ended having just been fired - never heard of such a thing. Fires people for being slightly off the target number of signatures after less than a week. Told off coworker for having a quick drink of water having been out in the sun for hours, then also encourages us to drink lots of water. Very contradictory and...

    Advice to Management

    If you want to reach the ideal number of signatures/donations, do not have such high expectations for new starters. Encourage rather than intimidate, or else the word will spread that this is not a good company - people you fire within a few days leave and tell people other potential recruits not to bother because very few people will meet those standards immediately.     Free lunch if you hit your daily targets

    Cons

    No bonuses or commissions, free lunches ONLY if you hit daily targets. Cheap lunches, no fries

    Advice to Management

    Undertake some form of sales training to new staff and ask your workers where they think they might shine, recruiters sometimes can determine where the right fit is for you, however the salesperson knows for certain whether they suite acquisitions, reactivations etc. rather than where they're placed on a whim, especially by people who have 0 sales experience.

    We have numerous incentive schemes to keep things fun and reward staff including lunches, vouchers, team activities, monthly drinks and bonuses. Also in regards to what programs you are allocated to, this is decided by call centre management and is never done on a whim.
