Pros

none, it's run like kindergarten, by a bunch of children

Cons

- micro management - no one is empowered, the CEO gets pulled into everything [and often derails it] - the COO, well that's a joke. Overpaid and ineffective, the CEO's gofer - the hallways whisper lack of trust, people treated as disposable, a complete lack of insight to the real issues - Band aids have been normalized - so when things come unraveled as they do daily, the leadership feign ignorance when they were actually at the center of what created the storm. There are going to be more resignations, [soon as I can find a job I'll be gone too], it’s like a house of cards. The worst part is, the ego's both within AMP and between the investor and AMP, [and there are some big ones], are now emerging as a new set of dynamics that employees are being pushed to the forefront to navigate. Everyone falling all over each other to throw you under the bus, to save their own butt. It's laughable. Everything is boot strapped, there are no investments - nickel and diming their way through each week vs trying to stabilize and build a sustainable business.

Thank you for the candor and for sharing your perception from your time at AMP. As the company continues to scale and grow, it is natural for leadership to change and evolve. We continue to invest in talent and provide opportunity for individuals to grow both out and up to support them in their personal professional endeavors. AMP takes pride in building a space where team members are comfortable sharing the issues that are on their mind; being an organization of diversity and inclusion is fundamental to who we are. We will always aim to be a place where team members are comfortable bringing their best selves to work each day.

Cautionary Tale - A Career Misstep

Pros

Partial reimbursement for training costs, discounted treatments and retail products for employees.

Cons

Our group was aquired by AMP, and I stayed the course following a promise of substantial rewards and professional growth, but encountered numerous challenges. Despite promises of competitive pay and attractive benefits, the reality was disappointing with lower compensation and benefits that often fell through. Leadership consistently displayed questionable operational practices, including serious miscommunications and unfulfilled commitments. Experienced a series of shocking and blatant misrepresentations from the top management, which undermined trust and affected workplace morale. The employee and provider turnover within our region was, without exaggeration, staggering. My employment with AMP was highlighted by significant risks without the anticipated rewards, making it a cautionary tale for anyone considering similar opportunities.

Overpromise, undeliver

Pros

Remote, flexible work, teammates and people who really wanted AMP to succeed, believed in this, and tried to help each other at all costs.

Cons

Witnessed actual lies from leadership, received calls from clinical partners that had been acquired asking me if Advanced MedAesthetic Partners was going broke, cut training budget for healthcare providers from $10,000 a year to $2,500 per year, laid off most of their original staff due to overpaying to entice them to leave their stable jobs to come on board. Sometimes your job felt like smoke and mirrors to say you were doing something to Leon Capital Group, their backers. All in all, despite being educational, this was a sad thing to witness. When I signed on, I was offered unlimited PTO and an employee beauty budget of $10,000 per year. Six months in, PTO changed to less than 2 weeks per year and the way I found out was randomly logging into my HR portal one day to discover. Beauty budget never happened. Was told several times it was cut, then coming back, then cut. It has not materialized since.
