Unfortunately, we had to terminate one of our longtime employees and this review is a result of that. However, we'd still like to address the criticism.
We cannot hire anyone with a felony, theft related charges, or a failed drug test. There are exceptions for individuals who have had their convictions deferred depending on the length of time since their case. These exceptions are decided on a case by case basis and are not a given by any means. We use a sales philosophy called information based selling; we show a customer how we can genuinely improve their lifestyle with our product. The days of hard-nosed, pushy sales are over. Today’s consumers have a wealth of knowledge at their fingertips 24 hours a day so they’re too smart and too well informed for that, nor is it part of our mantra. The CEO Doug Mitchell is passionate about this company and the people in it, that's why it's lasted 5 years when most sales companies crumble with in the first two. We wouldn't say it's all about looking professional; we wear jeans on Fridays ;-). We do encourage employee reviews as does every company. We also encourage cons when they’re constructive to learn where we can grow. We have some of the best talent in the industry so the idea that we would threaten our employees or contractors is self-destructive. We do appreciate the feedback and opportunity to respond.
