Pros
Beyond English has a young, energetic staff and a generally attractive model. They do a good job of recruiting Spanish speakers who are engaging, passionate teachers and the Academic Director provides great resources and support for young teachers. The students BE works with (adults and students) are also all very interesting and committed to the mission of the company which makes it an enjoyable job!!

Teachers are all from the US, which makes them great English teachers, but they deserve much for support and respect than they are given. Teachers are working on "subject to contract" visas which gives them very little autonomy - if you are unhappy with the job, you cannot stay in Chile! Also, administration gives very little support in the visa application process and does not give any financial support. Finally, I was attracted to Beyond English because I thought it would be a reasonable, working salary (rather than a volunteer program that would put me in debt) however the cost of living in Santiago
