Pros

Remote company was a plus but that was about it.

Cons

This company could be something but the leadership is pathetic. The founder is a nice guy, but to set in his ways and the CEOs ego get sin the way and he is in way over his head in regards to running a company. They hire junior-level people and assign them to accounts. They do not understand true marketing strategy and at the end of the day are a good Marketo-managed services team. Everything is done last minute and there is a lack of process and any true seasoned adults in the room.

Pros

A remote-first organization with excellent employees. Everyone works hard and wants to do an excellent job.

Cons

The turnover rate within the organization is significantly high, with a consistent pattern of voluntary resignations and dismissals. The expectations regarding billable time are often unrealistic, occasionally exceeding the total hours worked in a given week, surpassing the 100% mark. A noticeable lack of alignment among the leadership team leads to the absence of robust processes for effectively managing clients. The organization falls short in conducting thorough assessments during the hiring process, resulting in the recruitment of individuals who display bullying tendencies, thus adversely impacting the organizational culture. Regrettably, the company faces considerable challenges reminiscent of a ship sinking. If you are contemplating joining this organization, I strongly advise you to seek alternative opportunities. Your mental well-being will undoubtedly benefit from such a decision.

Pros

Good compensation, benefits, PTO, socials.

Cons

Poor resource planning, too many clients per person, expect everyone to be 100% billable, time tracking is down to the minute, no work-life balance, very few people actually have space in their calendars for anything and they give clients whatever they want. They also use freelancers and independent contractors but put them on the website as part of the team and let the clients think these people are actually part of the team too. High turnover. People quit and get fired frequently.
