Thank you for taking the time to post a review. And we agree, busy season can be stressful, but if you are a CORE CCR, then you reap the benefits of the slow season as well.

Pros

Fellow co workers become like family, very close knit. Benefits are decent.

Cons

LOW WAGES, LOW WAGES, LOW WAGES. The company has heard this for many years and still thinks they are paying very well and honestly they are not, especially in todays economy and even before the inflation started. Most companies are starting wages at $15/hour and so you need to do better to attract good employees, in this day and age, the employee is no longer the candidate the employer is and if they can not provide a decent wage and benefits then employees will not come or current staff will leave to other places that are paying the same wage. The company doesn't understand we are here to keep wisconsin digging safely, that means saving lives and under ground infrastructure, they think $15 an hour is great. Since DHL is a nonprofit there revenue is public record, and other than last years fiscal year numbers all previous years show a net revenue of 6 figures, They can treat their core staff better.

Thank you for taking the time to share your personal opinion. New seasonal hires start currently at $15/hour, and also have signing and retention bonus opportunities since they are limited with benefit offerings, and most core staff make well over that figure. Increases this year were well above average for most team members, and the rates were set by the Board prior to seeing inflation increase so dramatically thanks to factors outside of our control at Diggers Hotline. The benefits at Diggers Hotline far exceed many other companies which makes the total compensation package above average.
