Pros

I gained solid fundraising experience at 2evolve - I worked as a Tele-Fundraiser for 5 months in their Sydney branch & 5 months in their Auckland branch - both on working holiday visas. The experience I gained at 2evolve has played an integral part in helping me secure a successful career in fundraising in the UK for a leading charitable organisation. I also met my husband at 2evolve! We were on different calling teams but it was love at first sight! I found the team leaders - Rebecca & Anthony in particular, to be really supportive and helpful. I met some great friends and there are training and development opportunities if you work hard and have the right attitude. If my results slipped, I was supported and trained when needed to help get my results back up to speed. We were trained to always be polite, passionate and fundraise in an ethical and sound way.

Cons

Most shifts on the phones start late and finish late - but for me this was plus as I'm not a morning person.

Pros

City location was the only good thing

Cons

Fired after 2 weeks for not making sales KPI's - no one wants to buy charity subscriptions but the KPI is amount of charity subscription sales - most of the customers I called had passed away which is why their subscriptions lapsed so of course it was impossible to renew them
