Pros

Big companies give you chance to work on big projects. Oh and Free Coffee if you're into it. I wish I could say more positive things, but there isn't really much.

Cons

This review is only for Design Planning and Economics practice. In general, it feels like AECOM has grown beyond its capabilities to manage it. -> I'll put this in bold - VERY TOP HEAVY. Which in management terms mean that most people will retire here, leaving little space for upward mobility -> The entire practice survives on Federal Planning team getting big military related contracts - as sad as that is, this is true -> No room for innovation really, just standard practice because all the middle / top management want to keep their jobs and not take any risks -> Managers have very poor credentials resulting in projects being run into the ground -> Business Leaders are even worse, since they've no practical knowledge of working in the field, and so fail to make good business judgement -> Project Managers have little to no knowledge of managing such big teams -> No raise of bonus potential. Unless you're working in the field.

Pros

Decent company, good stock plan, good people who want to see you grow

Cons

Very remote management makes things hard, very little team work is locally siloed so its hard for managers to understand the boots on the ground view. Managers are great people but spread very thin, sometimes they accept work before having staff for it(classic consulting move)
