AECOM is a large global company that has opportunities across the world if you are interested in working in and experiencing other parts of the world. Some great people work here and can be excellent resources if you seek them out.
Cons
Too large! This company has totally lost their employee engagement culture once shared by some of the legacy operating companies that were melted together into one AECOM. Mixed messages come out from the CEO stating how well we are doing yet an hour later layoffs are happening. There has been little communication regarding staff reductions; leaving everyone else paranoid. Many managers are not well trained, lack people skills, and are just flat out not leaders. Everything is becoming prescriptive around here - no room for creativity and sharing ideas. Not what was promised to many when their former companies were purchased.
