Pros

Hourly wage above average, great teams of hard workers with fantastic personality, opportunity to get involved in projects, you will make friends for life

Cons

After 6 years I have now left this job and working with a competitor.i used to love working here and was so passionate about the company. This all changed within my last year. My hours were cut due to over recruiting, they make it so there is now zero chance of earning the advertised deputy rate, I've gone from earning around 2k a month to struggling to scratch 1.2/1.3k! senior managment especially assistant managers will talk to you awfully. It's not just the store I worked in, I have spoke to many working in the same role in different stores , but so many deputy managers feel they are no longer included within the managment team

Pros

+ industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

Cons

+ work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
