Pros

The pay is way better than idustry standard but make no mistake, you will work for it. If you are lucky to get a store manager that actually cares about their emplyees, you got it made. Full time is 20 hours so you are eligable for med benefits at part time hours afer 90 days.

Cons

The time requirements for throwing a pallet and ringing is completely messed up. They expect you to hurry to get things done yet the cost to the company in broken stock and pissed off customers is much higher. Never do you get to leave when you are scheduled to leave. There is little to no communication from store mngr and shift supervisors and if you ask a question, you are looked at like you are completely retarded.

Pros

+ industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

Cons

+ work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
