Pros

- Great pay ($85,000+5,000 signing bonus first year, $90,000 second year, $95,000 third year, $100,000 fourth year, $110,000 fifth year) - Good benefits through Cigna - Create your own work schedule

Cons

- Have to work one Saturday and one Sunday a month - Salaried at 50 hours but the amount of work assigned requires you to work more - Toxic culture of “do as I say” - they don’t want anyone questioning decisions made, even if it’s clearly not working - You aren’t able to apply for any other positions within the company. Promotions are presented to you and almost always require relocation but you don’t have the option of applying to anything yourself. If you say no to the opportunity that is presented you are black listed

Pros

Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

Cons

EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

Pros

+ industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

Cons

+ work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
