Pros
Fairly relaxed work life balance but recent changes at ExCo are slowly eating away at this. Dependant on department, opportunities for progession exist. Bonuses do get paid but this can fluctuate widely from year to year and even person to person.
Cons
As above. The benefits from the past are trending in the wrong direction. The CEO is incredibly toned deaf and completely out of touch with the reality of her employees. To be frank I'm not sure what she offers. Renumeration is way too structured and ignores the reality of the people on the ground. If you refuse to pay people what they're worth because of some weird formulation of a 50% salary range provided by a generic market report then you will lose talent. Most people see that the company perceive the company as losing money in most departments and relying on the few that do turn a profit, but then not rewarding the people within those departments that are essentially lifting the company on their shoulders. Employee share purchase plans have also disappeared a few years ago without any explanation to my knowledge.
