The Director Of Business Operations was extremely awkward to work with. I took him on a few appointments early on in my sales career only to find out how inexperienced and socially awkward he was. It was very difficult to be managed by someone that couldn't be trusted or respected. Also, you could never turn your back on your fellow colleagues. Very much a popularity contest. It was a dog eat dog environment that had no work life balance. Your given small sales territorys to sell only a small amount of employment disciplines. Other firms allow you to sell multiple disciplines in large geographical areas with a much better commission structure. Shop around if you plan to enter this industry.
