Pros
Amazon provided lots of opportunity to grow, get promoted, and move around in the organization. The culture was professional and mature. Amazon LPs are not just tag-lines, they are deeply integrated into daily operations. The compensation was outstanding.
Cons
Amazon didn't seem to fully appreciate the nuances of my industry which was a relatively new market for the corporation. It didn't seem to be a great fit for the corporate culture and I think that made it diffult to find a successful approach.
