The expectation would be that you would work for more than 8 hours. There are n number of leadership skills that are used as weapons for your review to show where you are lacking and they would be least bothered on the skills where you are exceeding. They select random people and put them in PIP ( try searching employee reviews in Quora ) and they ensure that his / her career is screwed up in Amazon (as the employee can not apply for internal roles and if he resigns Amazon will never hire you back).
