Amex UK has buzzing Technology campuses in Burgess Hill and, on a smaller scale, in London. Smart people solving hard problems in creative ways. The company puts a lot into making Amex a great company to work for, and this is particularly true for software engineers.
Cons
As a global company, there can be significant timezone challenges. Teams are often distributed geographically, sometimes 8 hours apart, which can be challenging to work life balance. The UK org can feel a little restricted in terms of opportunities for career progression. Salaries have dropped below market rates in recent years.
