Pros

Training team and peers mostly friendly and professional.

Cons

1. Shift Patterns are very bad, flexibility not as advertised, destroys social life, family life and outside interests. All played down on recruitment. 2. Team Leaders are negative, condescending, inefficient and picky. They disappear whenever an escalated issue comes up. 3. Review points system so unfair, you get bad reviews for other people's work. 4. Way too obsessed with phone stats: break times, log on, log off, lunches are very rigid and any deviation affects your stats and progress in company. 4. Good work is underplayed whole small errors are highlighted, massive imbalance. Only TWO out of TWENTY who started on same training team as me were still there after 9 months! = That says it all.

Pros

They have fantastic pay for the position you're in, and they teach you interesting and engaging utility of modern technology mixed with legacy fundamentals. I've learned quite a bit while AmEx while getting paid more than fairly - I'd recommend a stretch here to whomever may be reading this!

Cons

The Company is huge, and at times it may take more than a little time to get recognized for your abilities and the growth you've had. There's a reason there is a "only way up is out" reputation exists for some enterprise companies...
