Pros

Might be the best benefits in the city! A handful of stellar people, but fewer and fewer. A sparkling new tower!

Cons

A thoroughly miserable workplace. It is somewhat hard to believe how poisonous the culture is in Houston and how indifferent to this every succeeding wave of leaders (though that isn't what they are by a long shot) is. Year after year, I kept thinking it can't be this bad, I'm just not in the right group. People who succeed here have the skin of a triceratops or are truly despicable enough to figure out the programme and exploit it. As a business, the company has been resting on its laurels for a generation -- and it has been possible to do that because the extraction business can be enormously profitable. But don't be fooled by the spiffy new offices. This company is dying ever so slowly under a culture that is rotten at the core. Come, earn a fat paycheck while it lasts, learn a few things, and then be off to someplace that doesn't hate every bone in your body.

Pros

Some good co-workers and good challenges

Cons

Leadership in the Tucson office is highly political and unprofessional. Feedback is not given directly. Local leadership is more interested in Linkedin posting and image, rather than anything of substance.
