Performance management is a joke. If you’re over 30 and competent you’ll be passed over for promotion. C1 promotes younger people that need to leverage others to get their work done. Unbelievable display of the Peter Principle in C1’s hierarchy. You’ll be reporting to someone younger than you that is most likely a micro-manager. The person I report to has seen 3 promotions in 5 years, yet not a single one of their 12 direct reports has been promoted.
