Pros

I've been here for years, and am departing to continue my personal career goals. Cequence is a very unique place to work, where you get out of it what you put in. Hard work is rewarded and recognized, and it's a tight knit group of people trying to better the company each day. Some of the biggest pros are: - Truly competitive benefits, they are top notch - Solid compensation - Very rewarding environment where impact of personal contributions can be seen immediately - The environment can be fun, don't expect bureaucratic crap making the culture dull - The CEO cares and is very open

Cons

Every company will have negative aspects, it's part of life and working. The only ones to list are: - Not everyone is technical, more folks need to get in the weeds - Customers can be unpredictable, this is true everywhere though

Pros

Work from home. Technology is interesting but usually gets kicked down the road with clients or is viewed as a subset feature of a waf or edge network.

Cons

Leadership has to change! There is absolutely no vision nor strategy and this is clearly due to the council up top. The CEO has no clue as to what Cequence should be. Started out as bot company, then API, then back to bot focus all the while dropping out of every major 3rd party analyst review and magic quadrant. Reps are left reeling to educate and defend against competitors when even the resellers don’t know exactly what we do. High high high turnover at every level! Logos churn so they continue to downsize every 6 months. SEs are spread thin, shift from US focus and UK to Middle East, logo chasing almost thrashing to move the needle. Platform is unstable and at times feels like you’re selling snake oil. Competitors are crushing them and leadership refuses to acknowledge this. No BDR support, 1 channel manager supporting several countries, maybe less than 3 reps in US now. It’s literally a circus at this point.
