Pros

When i first started working for coach i loved my job & the company. The product is beautiful and amazing! And yhe COMPANY culture was great! The discount is good if you can use it! Great benefits and bonuses!

Cons

The STORE culture however is an entirely different game. I relocated with the company after basically being promised to be one of the first ones to be considered for a promo. But let me tell you. NEVER relocate for a company if they are not going to offer you the change in title to go with it. Managers LIE LIE LIE & LIE instead of telling you the honest truth about what you need to improve on. They make promises to get you to do what they want. & they use you.Ive seen it happen over & over to other coworkers looking to move up. & unless you literally kiss their butts & become buddy buddy your not moving up anytime! They dont value true talent here because managers do not have the skills to develope talent. The people that are managers GOT LUCKY. They want you to work there for 4-7 years as a SALES ASSOCIATE before they give you an entry level assistant manager position with low pay. at my last store mamagers managed like rookies. Except a selet few. I loved this company & i am disapoonted that i had this experience. I made alot of sacrafices for this company & they dont appreciate anything.

Pros

- fast paced days with lots of client interaction and team building moments - fun product dropped monthly with opportunities to be the first to own popular drops - opportunities to grow* - a great starting place to learn how to provide an elevated shopping experience and learn how to build a client book

Cons

- * Opportunities to grow only present themselves if you have a positive relationship with the management team and/or the DM - Corporate tends to lead on candidates and promise advancements or change verbally but little is done to correct behavior or advance within the company - Your store manager will determine whether the team is harmonious and fair, can be a double edged sword - you will be asked to do tasks or take on projects outside of your position with no additional compensation. It will be heavily frowned upon to decline said opportunities and tended to lead to being denied advancements - during ICE activities in the city, Coach refused to make a statement and or provide guidelines to how we as a store should respond. Associates were punished for absences related back to ICE activities
