Pros
Pay was okay Coworkers (other sales people) were great
Cons
Where do I even start? I was lied to in my interview about the fact that sales goals were not individualized and are achieved as a team, which isn't true. I was also not trained on how to use registers, other than a two hour training before the store opened one day. Most companies will provide you with videos displaying how to do things on register step by step, but not Coach. I am constantly having to ask managers to do things for me, or shadow me while I do something. When I do this, I am met with attitude from most managers. Issues never seem to be brought up when they happen, management always seems to wait until the problem becomes bigger to say something. Personally, if I am doing something wrong, I want to know about it the first time I make the mistake, not the 5th. When a manager does finally talk to you about this, it's usually with hostility and on the sales floor, where customers and employees can hear. This is so incredibly unprofessional. I've also been mistreated by my managers in front of customers, especially so by store managers. Our store uses iPads to check out customers, but they rarely work if at all. Management clearly plays favorites and will put you on mobile registers for hours on end, and you wonder how you're going to make your numbers.
