Pros

I absolutely loved this job. Not only was I working as a sales associate but I was also the stores social influencer and I learned so much. I was responsible for managing one of my personal Instagram pages where I promoted products and cultivated a community of customer that shopped in our store or that I because friends with via social media. This extra responsibility allowed me to really connect and become real life friends with some of my customers. They did trainings monthly with Instagram, TikTok, or just discussing various topics regarding content creation and strategy. I learned so much here that I will take with me in the future. They also have a great training program that walks you though every aspect of the brand and they are constantly adding new lessons so tenured employees are also receiving continued communication. We also received bonuses based on making our goal for the month as a store and bonuses were based on position and hours worked during the month. We also had many opportunities to earn “coach bucks” which is basically like a gift card for product, and we got a 50% discount all the time and 65% 4x a year (once a quarter) for employee appreciation. My bosses were amazing, always understanding and willing to work with me around my school schedule. Everyone I met through coach was so kind. I truly enjoyed my time there, I only left because I had to move. I also met the CEO Todd a handful of times, he is a super nice guy and really listened to us.

Cons

No real opportunity for a raise of any substance. I received a 3% raise after a year and a half upon yearly review.

Pros

- fast paced days with lots of client interaction and team building moments - fun product dropped monthly with opportunities to be the first to own popular drops - opportunities to grow* - a great starting place to learn how to provide an elevated shopping experience and learn how to build a client book

Cons

- * Opportunities to grow only present themselves if you have a positive relationship with the management team and/or the DM - Corporate tends to lead on candidates and promise advancements or change verbally but little is done to correct behavior or advance within the company - Your store manager will determine whether the team is harmonious and fair, can be a double edged sword - you will be asked to do tasks or take on projects outside of your position with no additional compensation. It will be heavily frowned upon to decline said opportunities and tended to lead to being denied advancements - during ICE activities in the city, Coach refused to make a statement and or provide guidelines to how we as a store should respond. Associates were punished for absences related back to ICE activities
