Pros

Great office location, only about a 5-minute walk from the LRT station. Since I work on a Greater China project, we are entitled to 11 public holidays instead of the standard 22 in Malaysia. However, we have the flexibility to work on public holidays and convert them into replacement leave. This makes it much easier to plan longer vacations at our preferred time, especially since not everyone likes to travel during public holidays anyway. The salary is competitive, and there is also a KPI allowance. While it's not always easy to achieve the full amount, it's definitely attainable with consistent effort. Another big plus is that my current project does not require overtime.

Cons

We are entitled to only 11 public holidays, although the replacement leave system does offer some flexibility. However, since many employees save up their replacement leave, it can sometimes be difficult to get leave approved for popular dates, so planning well in advance is important. As Concentrix is a BPO company, the overall work experience largely depends on the project or account you are assigned to. I’m fortunate to be in a supportive project with a good working arrangement, but experiences may vary across different projects, so I can’t really comment on or guarantee what it is like for other accounts.

Pros

A lot of great people with tremendous learning opportunities. My program is 24x7 so if willing to work nights and weekends, you can earn a higher rate of pay. Never boring and a lot to learn which works well for me!

Cons

Things can be very fast paced. Some people feel overwhelmed because there is a lot to learn.

Pros

The people and team leads are nice for where I work.

Cons

For a new contract no one really knows a lot about the retailer. We are told one thing in training now other people coming in are told something else. The benefits are strange. They have medical dental and vision. But, they have no sick time at all? No vacation the pto is accrued which is fine but let’s say you need to see a doctor you can’t use it because you have to put in 2 weeks in advance? You get points for anything and everything under the sun? That I don’t understand. I worked through the years for a lot of companies and third party retailers and it was never like that. I just think no federal holiday time off is not so good especially if it’s a religious kind of holiday a family holiday.
