Pros

Most colleagues were friendly Free fruit and cereal Unlimited free usage of a nice coffee and hot chocolate machine Good amount of opportunity to climb the ladder, however this is mostly due to high employee turnover (people keep leaving).

Cons

Undervalued - in a team meeting, one of the leaders explained how Concentrix views its staff. You are either making the company money, by taking phone calls or completing tasks for Concentrix's clients, or you are an expense, someone who supports other staff members to complete the above duties. For example, support roles, staff that may provide support to colleagues but not actually complete work directly for the client. Unreasonably low pay - the pay was very low and hovering above the award rate. The pay in no way reflected the requirements of the role, or the expectations that management were demanding. Management caught wind that I might be leaving to join another organisation and asked for a meeting. In the meeting I raised my concern about the low pay and outlined reasons of how I bring value, and why I should be paid a higher amount. I can't recall the exact wording, but in response one of the senior members of management said to me, "well, it's above minimum wage". I was disgusted and appalled. The pay may have been above minimum wage but only by a few cents. Micromanagement - is at the core of the Concentrix culture. Staff would be discouraged from taking toilet breaks outside of scheduled tea and lunch breaks, and if too many toilet breaks were taken, or toilet break were too long, the team lead was expected to intervene. I was fortunate that I had a team lead that protected their team from as much of these unrealistic expectations as possible.

Pros

A lot of great people with tremendous learning opportunities. My program is 24x7 so if willing to work nights and weekends, you can earn a higher rate of pay. Never boring and a lot to learn which works well for me!

Cons

Things can be very fast paced. Some people feel overwhelmed because there is a lot to learn.

Pros

Paid training Always hiring Occasional snacks Some managers are cool

Cons

Lie about base pay and pay structure Most bonus pay is tied to surveys so things outside of your control will screw you. (i.e. customer asking for something your not allowed to do so they rate you badly on the survey.) Office politics and some terrible managers that will go out of their way to get you in trouble.(i.e. You had a technical issue during a call and had to disconnect[not uncommon thing] and they'll bring it up with upper management acting like you hung up for no reason. Schedule will change constantly and often little notice. -Mandatory hour cuts and overtime within 2 weeks of each other -Schedule can shift from M-F 8 to 5 to Thursday to Monday 1 to 10. HR will lead you on about opportunities in other departments but they never actually open for you.
