Pros

-Safe job, which i'm pretty sure isn't a Pro.

Cons

-Terrible salary compared to market, same job at other employers is 35k - while others is double that. -Due to this, plenty of people have left the company and Dell Compellent so there's very little support given to customers. -Upper Management focuses on documenting details in the ticket system rather than giving support to customers. -metrics driven support, there is no longer "Do good work and youll be rewarded for it" rather than take as many calls as possible because there's not enough people to take them at this point. -work/life balance completely redundant at this point, can't have a normal life - by the time i'm home i'm exhausted from the amount of work that is required of me to do. -can't work from home. -managers will eat you for arriving a minute late, taking a break 1 minute longer than the 15 allowed. -no clue at the moment on their EMC purchase and future intentions.

Pros

At this point? None honestly.

Cons

They did a complete 180 since I got hired. Came in as remote during COVID and now that they forced most people back to the office, they made us 3rd class citizens in the company. Can't get a raise, a promotion, any spiffs or even the same contests that the people in the office do. This company does not keep promises and has been constantly doing workforce reductions ever year like clockwork for 4 years now. The COO Jeff Clarke is an absolute clown as well, you have to go into the office dressed as business casual, but this guy goes to One Dell World in undersized lame t-shirts every year. Hypocrisy at all levels of this company. Just looking for a good opportunity and I am out, after talking to my co workers I feel like 70-80% feel the same. The tools also suck and are down half the time as well.
